Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center in Warren, Ohio

Addiction of any kind is a pervasive problem that can seem to begin harmlessly but often ends up destroying lives.

It can even include other co-existing mental health problems which can complicate matters. Substance use addiction is one of the primary addictions treated at Open Water Counseling and Recovery. We offer case management, individual outpatient drug treatment counseling, intensive outpatient group (IOP) counseling, and partial hospitalization group (PHP) counseling. Depending on the severity of the addiction, a person may need to undergo a medical detox before beginning outpatient care. If determined that detoxification is needed, a referral will be made to a local network of trusted facilities. After the detox process is completed, you will be immediately entered into our outpatient program.

Substance use disorder (SUD) Case Management

With alcohol and drug abuse counseling, court systems may also be involved, and help is needed to navigate the successful completion of court requirements. These services are offered as a step below residential treatment, to a person that does not require 24-hour care. At Open Water Counseling, we provide 5 hours per day of group therapy and clinical activities, 4 days per week. You will go in-depth with your therapist and other clients about your addictions, and life difficulties, and learn therapeutic techniques and skills to achieve lasting sobriety. You are also medically monitored for withdrawal management while at the office and have access to a Nurse Practitioner or Physician.
